Latest News January 29, 2012 Our Mechanicsburg office continues to grow. We now offer our Beginners' Treatment Group on the West Shore. This group combines education with group therapy and is for adults who struggle with substance use and who may not have had any prior treatment. It's a great option for someone required to complete a drug and alcohol educational class. To see if you're eligible to enroll, call 717-590-7607 and schedule a drug and alcohol assessment. December 18, 2012 Mazzitti and Sullivan's acclaimed Adolescent Services continues its expansion on the West Shore with the addition of the Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program. This program offers a level of care comparable to that of an inpatient program while allowing young people to remain home with their families and continue attending school. View the AIOP brochure. December 10, 2012 We are proud to announce the addition of our newest staff member, Elizabeth Janis, LSW, who will begin seeing clients this week as we expand our services offered at the new Mechanicsburg office. Beth is a master's level licensed social worker with a varied background in mental health and drug and alcohol treatment. Her passion is working with individuals and family systems; in addition to seeing clients in regular sessions, she'll be the new facilitator for the Family Program. The Mechanicsburg office is growing quickly, and we plan to offer even more services in the near future, with a particular focus on diversifying our selection of drug and alcohol treatment groups. November 5, 2012 The Family Program at the Mechanicsburg office will begin Tuesday, November 13. The program will run from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and is for parents and family members of those who are in treatment at our Mechanicsburg location. There is no sign-up necessary and no cost for this service. If you'd like more information, you may call 717-590-7607. October 31, 2012 Our offices have reopened today. If you missed an appointment while we were closed due to the storm, we will be contacting you and will make every effort to reschedule you as soon as possible, including adding hours to our week this Saturday, November 3. Thank you very much for your patience and understanding. October 25, 2012 The Mechanicsburg office has 2 new offerings. One is an additional outpatient group, the Adolescent Support Group. The other is a new Family Program, which is an evening meeting designed for family members of those in treatment; for more information, call 717-590-7607. |
