Group Changes and Labor Day Week Schedules

Please note the following changes:

DIOP in Harrisburg has ended their aftercare group.  The regular IOP will keep their aftercare group.  

Our offices will be closed on Monday, September 5th, for Labor Day. 

DIOP will be running group on September 6, 7, 8 to make up for the closure on Monday.  

AIOP in Middletown and Lancaster will be running Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for the Labor Day week.  

EAP Breakfast Meeting - Potential Weather Alert

For our EAP clients planning to attend our Winter Breakfast Meeting in Lancaster, we are aware that the snow may affect your travel plans. We are going to endeavor to keep the meeting as scheduled, but please use your best judgment for safety to decide whether or not you will attend. If you can't make it, that's okay! We would rather that you be safe and well.

For those who RSVP'd via our website or email, we will email you if the meeting is going to be cancelled. We will call you if we only have your phone number.

You may also check this page for updates, call the EAP at 1-800-543-5080, or call the Eden Resort (we will let them know if we are cancelling the event so that they can advise our clients).

M&S Office Closings and Delays

For Monday, January 25th:

Please note that our Harrisburg office will be opening at 2pm. Dual IOP group in Harrisburg will be rescheduled for Tuesday, January 26th at 9am.

The Lancaster office will be closed on Monday. Adolescent IOP will be held Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week.

The Middletown office will be closed on Monday.

Community Involvement

Mazzitti and Sullivan Counseling Services, Inc., as a company, contributes to charities including the American Cancer Society, the Ronald McDonald House, and the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank.  Andy and Chuck participate in various functions throughout the year, including charity golf outings for the Fraternal Order of Police, Dauphin County Parks and Recreation, Boys and Girls Club of Central Pennsylvania, and the Capital Area Intermediate Unit.  The company owners also have involvement with the Cumberland Valley Eagle Foundation, Penn State Harrisburg Athletics, and Rural Mission in South Carolina.

Staff members participate in events to raise funds for breast cancer, autism, and diabetes.

Individual staff members volunteer with organizations such as the State Museum of Pennsylvania, Pine Grove Furnace State Park, St. Michael's Lutheran soup kitchen, Crickett's Answer for Cancer, KPETS, and Habitat for Humanity. 

Current and past therapists have worked with groups such as the Altrusa Club, the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks, and the American Diabetes Association, with particular involvement in Tour de Cure. Several other therapists have even founded their own non-profits to help their communities, from providing heating and home repair funds for the needy to raising money for police dogs.

Individual staff members make charitable donations to the American Cancer Society, Child Fund International, Humane Society of the Harrisburg Area, Ruth Steinart Memorial SPCA, Hillside SPCA, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the American Lung Association, local churches, and various other local and national charities.

Highspire office moves to Middletown!

It is with great excitement that we are announcing the new location for the former Highspire office. The new address offers increased space, programming capacity, and accessibility to the local area. This location will have all of the services formerly offered in the Highspire office as well as maintain all of the staff and counselors. The address is 1801 Oberlin Road, Suite 303, Middletown, PA 17057.
