In 1983, Mazzitti & Sullivan Counseling Services, Inc. began providing substance use and mental health counseling to adults in Harrisburg. Our commitment to helping people is evident in our counseling approach as well as through our specialty treatment services. For over 30 years, Mazzitti & Sullivan Counseling Services has expanded to four offices that offer comprehensive counseling services for adults, teens and children in Dauphin and Cumberland counties.
Our history is rooted in outpatient clinical services, and clinical professionals lead our operations. As a result, our priorities center on patient care, service delivery and successful outcomes. We have found that by concentrating on these areas, our business has flourished and our reputation has grown. Meet Our Team
My name is Chelsea Belles. I went to school at Shippensburg University and graduated with both my bachelor’s degree and my master’s degree in social work. Currently I am a licensed social worker. I work with clients who are in need of either mental health or drug and alcohol counseling. My treatment focus is children, adolescents, adults, couples or families and the LGBTQ population. I am also the co-facilitator of the adolescent services in the Middletown office.
Jessica Eichelberger graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies and from Shippensburg University with a Master’s degree in Social Work. Currently she is a Licensed Social Worker and has recently been promoted to Program Director in our Middletown office. During her time in the field, Jessica has worked with both adults and adolescents and has maintained a treatment focus in mental health, drugs and alcohol, trauma, and family services. Jessica has been a critical part of the continued growth and development of adolescent services in the Middletown office and continues to play an active role in the daily programming.
Hello, my name is Samantha Mattingly. I am a 2015 graduate of Penn State University. I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies with a minor in psychology. I currently see both adolescent and adult clients who are struggling with substance abuse issues. I also work with adolescents who struggle with anger issues or other impulsivity-related issues.
My name is Jason Hoffman. I graduated from Shippensburg University with a bachelor’s degree in social work. I work with clients between the ages of 18 and 80 for alcohol and drug addiction. I facilitate an outpatient drug and alcohol group and an IOP group in the Middletown office, and I facilitate an IOP group and work with individual clients in the Mechanicsburg office. I am willing to work with individuals, couples and families.
Kerry Lance, MA , a disabled veteran, received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Liberty University. Mr. Lance began his counseling career at an Inpatient Treatment Center, serving as a Substance Abuse and Crisis Intervention Counselor. He specialized in transitioning inmates re-entering society. He then refocused his expertise to serve at a Residential Outpatient facility, where he served as Addictions Counselor, then as Residential Supervisor. Kerry came onboard Mazzitti and Sullivan initially as an Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Counselor, and quickly increased his scope of efficacy to include providing onsite Grief, Loss, and Trauma counseling to Harrisburg regional clients. Mr. Lance has recently been promoted to Program Director of the Harrisburg location of Mazzitti and Sullivan, where he will collaborate to empower clients and staff, improve productivity and profitability, and increase program offering to include Trauma Groups for First Responders, Law Enforcement, and Veterans.
