Tiffany Dampier, CADS, MS – Clinical Supervisor
Tiffany Dampier is a Pennsylvania Board Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Human Services and specialization in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. She earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Social Psychology from Park University while serving active duty in the United States Air Force, Little Rock, Arkansas.
Since returning to her home state of Pennsylvania in 2010, Tiffany has been utilizing her military and professional experience to guide her clients through their own personal battles of life. Her clientele consists of individuals who present with depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, codependency, relationship issues, and/or substance abuse. Tiffany also facilitates the Dual Diagnosis Intensive Outpatient group (DIOP) at Mazzitti and Sullivan Counseling in the Harrisburg office.
Sylvester Wilson, MHS
Sylvester works with adults dealing with Substance Use Disorders in our Harrisburg office. He strongly believes that his educational training coupled with years of professional counseling experience and his own long-term recovery from drug and alcohol addiction have prepared him well for his time with Mazzitti and Sullivan. Sylvester is a Counselor, Certified Assistant Alcohol Level 2 and House Manager with over 10 years of work experience. Currently, Sylvester is a primary Drug and Alcohol counselor. He leads both the Adult Intensive Outpatient Program as well as Mazzitti and Sullivan’s Aftercare group.
Louisa Eyler, LSW
Louisa believes that having an extraordinary life is possible for all people. Her approach stems from the perspective that a fulfilling, even thrilling life is available to anyone who is willing to put forth the effort. It’s simply a matter of finding the path that leads you there. Her philosophy is based on honoring each individual as an expert in his/her life. She believes that people are naturally creative, resourceful and whole.
Listening, really listening, to her clients and asking powerful questions that open the mind is at the core of her work at Mazzitti and Sullivan Counseling. Clients describe her style as warm, enthusiastic, insightful, innovative, bold, rigorous, action-oriented, optimistic, intuitive and fun. Louisa is a primary Mental Health counselor and provides individual, couples and family counseling at Mazzitti and Sullivan’s Harrisburg location.
Daniel Alvalle, BA
Daniel has been in the field of Behavioral Health services since 2004. He has worked in a wide variety of settings including, Alternative Rehabilitation communities (Latino Language Barrier Component – “Latino house”) Balanced and Restorative Justice with at-risk youth, Gaudenzia as a drug and alcohol and mental health counselor and Dauphin County Crisis intervention as a MH/ID Caseworker. Daniel has a Bachelors of Arts from Ashford University where he double-majored in Psychology and Child development (Cum Laude). He also has his Master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in organizational leadership from Ashford University and as of July 2018 will have obtained his Master’s degree in Social Work from Widener University. A lifelong learner, Daniel also holds certificates and training in Critical Incident Stress Management and plans on returning to school in the Spring of 2019 to pursue his Doctorate degree in Psychology.
Daniel has numerous personal interests such as art, Acrylic painting, and has practiced Martial arts for many years. Daniel currently practices Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo and Wrestling and has competed, won, and placed in many Local, State and Regional/ World Tournaments.
Stephanie Thorn, BA
Stephanie is the Primary Group Facilitator of the Adult Partial Hospitalization Program at our Harrisburg office, which is an Intensive Program for clients presenting with Acute Substance Use Disorder symptomology that are severe but do not require 24-hour monitoring. Stephanie is passionate about helping clients to develop a stable foundation for long-term sobriety through engagement in an active program of recovery that extends beyond treatment. Along with this, Stephanie believes that addiction is a family disease and that family recovery is an essential part of the healing process for everyone involved. She is dedicated to providing support and resources to family members as a part of treatment process for the individuals she works with in guiding them towards long term recovery. Stephanie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her background includes a range of experience including family, group, and individual counseling prior to joining the Mazzitti and Sullivan team in 2017.
Matthew Walters M.S., LPC
Matthew Walters graduated in 2013 from Cairn University with Masters in Christian Counseling. While completing his Masters program he began at Pyramid Healthcare working at the Quakertown Adolescent Inpatient facility. Following that time, he has worked in the Allentown Outpatient facility providing mental health and substance abuse therapy, as well as in the Bristol Outpatient facility providing various level of substance abuse treatment all within the Pyramid Healthcare system. He transitioned to Mazzitti and Sullivan- Harrisburg location in 2018 and currently serves as the Dual Diagnosis Outpatient Counselor. Matthew has a passion for helping clients work through hurt and adversity, in order to help them find healing and hope, as they pursue changes that will bring them a brighter future.
