Mary Diskerud, LCSW – Clinical Director

Mary earned her undergraduate degree in Psychiatry from Towson University and received her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland. Mary has worked in the field of behavioral health for nearly 20 years, spending the early part of her career in the hospital setting before moving to outpatient services. She has spent most of her career within varying levels of supervisory duties and currently serves as a Clinical Director for Mazzitti and Sullivan’s Hershey office.

Mary works with clients of all ages, focusing primarily on the adult population. She is dually trained and has a diverse caseload of clients struggling with a variety of diagnoses and issues. Mary is also lead clinician for Mazzitti and Sullivan’s Professionals program, providing level of care assessments as well as running the ongoing outpatient support groups and maintaining collateral contacts with clients licensing bodies and regulatory requirements.

Gina Nazzaro, LSW – Assistant Program Director

Gina received her undergraduate degree from Penn State University and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Temple University. She is now a Licensed Social Worker and the Assistant Program Director at our Hershey office. Prior to to joining Mazzitti and Sullivan Counseling, Gina had worked within Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital, Child Life Program, and a local school district.

Gina maintains a full caseload of clients in the Hershey area and has an interest in working with those struggling with Substance Use Disorders as well as Mental Health issues. She is lead facilitator of our Adult Evening Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and is also very excited to be lead clinician in the development of Mazzitti and Sullivan’s Eating Disorder programming.

Michelle Batz, LCSW

Michelle has worked in outpatient behavioral health services since 1997 and has developed her diverse skill set in various levels of care and programming. Michelle focuses on Mental Health issues, working with adults, adolescents and families to assist them in addressing the treatment goals they identify for their treatment process.

Devin Hayward, MA

Devin attended Washington College and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a concentration in Justice, Law and Society. Devin then graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with her Masters of Science in Psychology with a concentration on Child and Adolescent Development. She enjoys working with clients who are in need of mental health or drug and alcohol counseling. Devin specializes in working with adolescents and utilizing informed Dialectic Behavioral Therapy skills to enhance treatment.
